•Date Of Birth: February 6, 1957


•Age at Time of Disappearance: 23 years old


•Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'10"; 158 lbs.


•Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Dark brown hair; brown eyes. Hegwood wears eyeglasses or contact lenses and also suffers from seasonal allergies, including hay fever.


•Marks, Scars: He has a scar on his inner left eyebrow.


•Jewelry/Items: Hegwood was wearing a gold Bulova Acutron watch with a green safety cross on its face and the name "Robert E. Bell" engraved on the back at the time of his disappearance. He was also carrying a .25-caliber RG Model 26 pistol with serial number U020365.


Circumstances of Disappearance


Hegwood was last seen in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on March 20, 1980. He has never been heard from again.


Hegwood enjoyed hunting, fishing and canoing in 1980. He was employed as a bartender at the time of his disappearance

Interestingly, I found a Jeff Hegwood that is the spiting image of the Jeffrey Hegwood. Take a look for yourselves.

Could this be the same Jeff Heygood that has been missing for 30 years???? Stranger things have happened, for example the Sleuthster finding Lafreda Chrispen alive 15 years later. Also, why was Jeffrey wearing a watch with someone elses name engraved in it and how did they have the serial # from the gun? So many questions.....I welcome your comments.
 

Where is Huguette Clark? Chapter One

Recently, I came upon a photo essay on MSNBC which not only intrigued me but fascinated me enough to take a journey unto the unknown. I was in search of a missing woman. This is not your ordinary missing person’s case where she was on her way to the store and vanished, this is the case of a woman who by public accounts would be 104 if she is indeed alive today and has merely vanished from society. Her name is Huguette Clark and her father was former Senator and millionaire William Clark, the same Clark that Clark County, NV is named to honor. The same Clark County I will be traveling to in May on vacation.

After reading this photo essay I was overwhelmed by questions. What happened to Huguette Clark? Is she alive, or is she deceased and her estate has simply averted the truth? Did she remarry secretly and live happily ever after in a grand castle on the Moors of Scotland or as a spinster in a condo along the shores of Ft. Lauderdale? Is she simply averting the paparazzi's of the world and living in seclusion?

I must know. I believe it was the picture that drew me unto desire to know the truth.

Okay this wasn’t the exact picture I was looking for. The one I wanted had the two girls and their grandpa in it. The point is, the resemblance is uncanny and it was like I could feel the bond that Huguette and her sister Andree shared as well as the pain that she must have endured for decades after morning for the loss of her sister/soul mate.

This will be a long journey but in the end I believe it will be worth it.

Where is Abraham Shakespeare?

Where is Abraham Shakespeare? This is the $10,000 question, or at least if you can find him you may be eligible for the $10,000 reward. Finding him however, may be a difficult as swallowing the story behind Abraham's disappearance.


Abraham Shakespeare is not your usual missing person who either has chosen to disappear or possibly come to some sinister demise, he was at one time worth more then $12 million because of his fortunate purchase of a lucky Florida Lottery ticket a few years back. Could this fateful event have led to someone killing Abraham or did he disappear on his own because of the financial woes he eventually had succumb to after losing most of his winnings to bad loans and poor investments?

Update on Lafreda Chrispen

I received a response back from Doenetwork.com . They had contacted the NCMEC and heard back that the myspace is indeed LaFreda Chrispen. She was recovered at an airport in July, 2009. Lafreda Chrispen is alive and well! It is wonderful news.

Off I go to search for more missing persons, lets bring them home!

Where is Kyla Porter?

Kyla Porter disappeared from Pasco County,Florida on February 15th 2008. She had called her sister and told her she was on the way home. She never came home.

LaFreda Chrispen Found?

The Sleuthster believes that she has found Lafreda Chrispen alive and well 15 years after she was abducted by her foster parents.

It appears, by her status's, that she has found her family after all of these years and has made contact.
I love my family!! So thankful that I can contact them and try and get to know a little bit more about who i am!! Happy Bday Rayshon !! Mood:blessed

Unfortunately, LaFreda's mother died in 2004 and supposively the case was closed with Law Enforcement because of her mother's death.

So, the questions that I have now; Is Lafreda Chrispen still a missing person? Are there still active warants for Jane and Randall Lindner? Does Lafreda know that she is listed as a missing person? Where has she been all of these years?

The Sleuthster plans to get the answers to all of these questions and more. Stay tuned................

They never came home

It is hard to believe that in any given day over 2300 adults and children go missing within the United States. Although a majority of the missing are children, it is still unfathomable that aproximately 20% are adults.This means that over 420 adults go missing each day. Whether by choice or because they where an unwilling victim of a crime, these adults and children are missed by someone. Family members and friends spend days, months, years asking the same question.
